Story Fest

Running annually since 1996, The North London Story Festival (Story Fest) is the longest-running student-led festival that aims to celebrate all forms of storytelling via hosting a range of guest speakers and holding practical workshops at the Hendon campus of Middlesex University in London.
Formerly the North London Literary Festival, previous speakers include Dame Professor Carol Ann Duffy,
David Nicholls, Al Kennedy, Lynton Kwesi Johnson, Andrew Motion, Fay Weldon, Susannah Wise, A J Dalton, Sammy
HK Smith, and published alumni of Middlesex University.

The theme for our event in March 2021 was ‘Transformation’. For March 2022, it was ‘Inspiration and Community’ – you can see some of the activities that took place by clicking on the site link above…
And for 2023, our theme is ‘The Future of Storytelling’! The festival will take place 20-22 March 2023, delivered both face-to-face and via zoom with Middlesex University’s Creative Partners, who include UK publishers, universities, media organisations, and employers.
